favorite countries: The next destination is always may favorite one... in other words, I LOVE to travel - I am always fascinated by foreign cultures and continents, but on the other hand I also love Europe, my "home continent". Favorite cities are certainly London, San Francisco, Amsterdam, New York, Barcelona -- heck, and many more... For some different reasons I recently felt in love with Korea...
favorite movie: The Road Home

This Chinese movie is without doubt the best movie I have ever seen. This movie has it all: An extremely touching love story, wonderful images, a story that (for me) symbolizes the circle of life... and the beautiful Zhang Ziyi (who became famous in "Hidden Dragon, Crouching Tiger") is simply incredible. The director Zhang Yimou has made several other movies which are deeply touching, for example "Not one less".

My favorite proverb and life-time motto:

My grandfather once told me that there were two kinds of people: those who do the work and those who take the credit.

He told me to try to be in the first group; there was much less competition.
